Milagros is an approachable and experience company with twenty years working with Mexican tile makers. We have worked  with architect and designers commissioning bespoke hand made tiles. We offer the following services.

-Sourcing service of hand made tiles.
-Designing
-Screen printing and glazing

-Exporting, export procedures and delivery to door.

If you are interested in commissioning hand made tiles then please provide us with the following information.

-The quantity of tiles you require.
-The dimensions/ proportions of the tiles
-Your chosen colours or designs.
-For what the tiles will be used.
-Shipping method
-Time frame from commission to installation.

Once you have provided us with how quickly you will need them the tiles information. We will produce  a quote. If the price is acceptable  receive the quote and if you would like to proceed then we will commission samples and have them shipped to you, at your charge using Fed Ex.

If you are happy with the samples and would like to proceed with your order then 50% of the order value is required as a deposit.

Milagros has worked directly with one family of tile makers for almost twenty years establishing an effective working . The tile makers quarry the clay, blend the clay, roll it out by hand, the tile blanks are kiln fired, glazed and fired again. They are skilled artisans. The makers work specifically with glazed terracotta tiles and decorative hand printed terracotta tiles. Both of these tiles are suitable for bathroom and kitchen walls.

The Mexican’s have been making hand made tiles for 500 years. The skills were brought to the New World by the Spanish who gained the craft from the invading Moors who had learnt them from the Persians. The decorative Mexican hand made reveal the trace of the journey from East to West over a thousand of year. Influences in their designs can be traced back to  the Spanish, the Moors and the Chinese.
